DISTRICT GOVERNOR 39 E
JOHN J. PACK’S HOME PAGE



Lion John was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho and has been a Lion since 1973. He was invited to join the Idaho Falls Lions Club, in Idaho Falls, ID where he was employed by Bank of Idaho. He remained active in the club their before moving to Moscow, Idaho.

 

In 1979 John was transferred to Pocatello where he became active in the Pocatello club. He was active with the Club sponsored Miss Pocatello Pageant for several years. He served on the Board of Directors 3rd Vice President, 1st Vice President and in 1982-83 he became President of the Pocatello Club.

 

The Pocatello club later dissolved in 1999 and John then joined the Chubbuck Lions Club where he has served on the Board of Directors, 1st Vice President, and then in 2001-02 he became President of the Chubbuck Club. He has served two years on Cabinet for 39-E.

 

In May of 2007 John was elected Vice District Governor 39-E at the Sun Valley Convention. He then was elected District Governor in May of 2008 and is presently serving as District Governor for 39-E

 

John serves also on the Pocatello Symphony Board, Pocatello Chiefs (Chief Banker of Many Hats), Pocatello Zoological Society, and has served on the Pocatello Neighborhood Housing Board, and the Loan Committee of Pocatello Neighborhood Housing. In 2007 John received the “Distinguished Citizen Award” from the Pocatello Chamber of Commerce.

 

John retired in July of 2006 from the Bank of Idaho after 43 years in the Banking Business. He and his wife, Loretta, have been married for 45 years, and have six children, fifteen, grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
